Mobile Arcade Fleet ("we", "us") operates this website and hires out arcade machines for events across New Zealand. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

Contact and booking details you give us when you call, email or book — your name, phone number, email address, event date, venue address and any access or site notes.
Billing information needed to invoice you, such as a business name and billing address. We do not store credit card numbers.
Website information collected automatically, such as your device type, browser, approximate location and the pages you visit. This comes from standard web logs and any analytics or advertising tools we use.
Event photos and video we may take at events for our website and social media.

Why we collect it

To quote, confirm and run your booking, and to get our crew and machines to the right place.
To invoice you and keep the financial records we are required to keep.
To answer your questions and follow up on enquiries.
To promote our services, including sharing event photos, and to measure how our website and ads perform.

Giving us your details is voluntary, but without them we can't quote or deliver a booking.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only where we need to:

With our crew and contractors so they can deliver, set up and run your event.
With your venue or event organiser where they need our booking details for access, health and safety, or insurance.
With service providers who help us operate — our website host, email provider, accounting software and advertising platforms.
Where the law requires it.

Some of these providers store information on servers outside New Zealand. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected to a comparable standard.

Photos and video at events

We often photograph or film our setups at events, and those images may include guests. We use them on our website, social media and marketing material. If you or a guest would prefer not to appear, tell our crew on the day or email us and we'll remove the image from anything we control.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, understand how people use it and measure our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well.

Keeping information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is completely secure, but we limit access to the people who need it and keep information only as long as we need it, or as long as the law requires.

Children

Our services are booked by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe we hold information about a child, contact us and we'll remove it.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct anything that's wrong. Email us and we'll respond as soon as we can, and within the timeframes set by the Privacy Act 2020.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll try to sort it out. If you're still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page with the date it was last updated.
